Director Kat Stiver completed the Emergency Animal Medical Technician Academy in Phoenix, Arizona. The Arizona Humane Society hosted the intensive training course.
“Many thanks to Dr. Nancy Bodley, Shannan Valenzuela, Vanassa and all the staff at AHS-Sunny Slope who made the academy a memorable experience. Due to the Arizona Humane Society’s guidance and enthusiasm, HCFR now has the skills to make a difference in animal emergencies,” stated Director Stiver.
